Futsal is FIFA's official indoor soccer game which is, essentially, a scaled down version of outdoor soccer played indoors. It is a small sided game (5v5) played on a smaller field (roughly basketball court sized) with a smaller (size 3-4) ball. Futsal is played with touchline boundaries. There are no walls in play. This is the game that outdoor soccer players around the globe play when they are indoors to refine and maintain their control skills and touch.
It is superior to walled soccer in terms of developing better skills and technique. In traditional American walled soccer, players regularly whack the ball (and sometimes their bodies) against the boards which promotes improper technique and too often rewards errant play.
In Futsal, players are constantly reminded to play the same quality control game that is required for success in the outdoor game.

Coach Neto is a former professional soccer player, Brazil native, current certified coach by the U.S.F.F (United States Futsal Federation). He has coached soccer and Futsal since 2007 where he worked for one of the bests Soccer Associations in the United States. He is a member of Youth U.S. Futsal Federation Coaching Staff.
After his 15 years coaching and helping to run the successful futsal programs and Tournaments he decided to bring all his experience and knowledge to the city of Jacksonville, Florida.

We are the FIRST FUTSAL ACADEMY from Jacksonville, FL strongly in support of the development of Futsal , as well as encouraging positive involvement in society.
Our goal is to provide an instructive environment to the kids, as well as creating a competitive Futsal team in order to compete locally, regionally and nationally!
In order for us to be able to attend all level of players we created a system that has no-conflict with your outdoor soccer club schedule. We run our practices on Fridays but we always have a "back-up" day available every week for make up sessions at your convenience!
